Short Description: Guntung is one of the urban villages in the Bontang Utara sub-district of Bontang City, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. The name Guntung comes from the Kutai language, which means a non-flowing lake, and the Kutai ethnic community refers to it as Guntung. The majority of residents in this village are Kutai people living in the inland areas, while the Bajau people reside in the coastal and maritime areas.
